In terms of higher education, students can attend Idaho State University in Pocatello, Eastern Idaho Technical College or University of Idaho (extension site) in Idaho Falls.

Condominiums and townhouses are available from under $100,000 to more than $200,000 in subdivisions such as Waterford, Stonehaven, Home Ranch, Cedar Ridge and Thayer Bridge. A number of fine amenities are available, including RV storage, wood flooring, patios, fenced lots, two-car garages, pantries, gas fireplaces, walk-in closets, wine rooms, bay windows and decks. Single-family homes in Idaho Falls are available from well under $100,000 to more than $800,000 for larger luxury homes and estate properties. Homes are available in subdivisions such as Canterbury Park, Comore Loma, Rose Nielsen, Sandcreek and Railfence Estates, and many boast large lots, fireplaces, multiple-car garages, security features, decks, pantries, golf course frontage, RV parking and stables/horse facilities. Land for custom homebuilding is readily available and some farm/ranch properties are also available.

Idaho Falls  For Monday, April 20th, the current national mortgage rate for a 30 year fixed mortgage is 4.51%; the 15 year fixed rate is at 3.90%. For a loan larger than conventional conforming loans, or 'jumbo' loan, the 30 year rate is 4.41%, while the 15 year jumbo rate currently is at 4.12%.
